42nd All-Polish Railwaymen's Pilgrimage
We are making a pilgrimage to Mary during the pastoral year, which is being carried out under the motto „Pilgrims of Hope.” Our participation in the pilgrimage with the Slogan „With Mary on the Roads of Hope” is an act of thanksgiving to Almighty God and the Blessed Mother:
- for the Jubilee Year – a time given to us to deepen faith, strengthen hope, awaken a spirit of openness, forgiveness, service, and brotherhood;
- for the unofficial pilgrimage of John Paul II to his homeland in 1995. Its message is still relevant for us Poles today;
- for 42 years of pilgrimage of railway workers to the throne of the Mother of God. In the spirit of unity, we will pray for the salvation of the faith of the Polish nation, for our Homeland, and also for the cultivation of patriotic values in the hearts of all Poles.
In prayerful communion, we will be joined by railway workers from Belarus, France, Slovakia, and Hungary. The pilgrimage will begin on Saturday, November 8th at 6:00 PM with a conference in the Jasna Góra Basilica, and will conclude on Sunday, November 9th at 11:00 AM with a solemn Holy Mass on the Jasna Góra hill, presided over by Archbishop Zbigniew Zieliński, Metropolitan of Poznań.
