Dąbrowa Górnicza named after Michał Spisak
Located in the heart of the Zagłębie region, the PKP S.A. railway station will be named Dworzec Dąbrowa Górnicza after Michał Spisak.
During the ceremony, a commemorative plaque will be unveiled, on which travelers will be able to read:
„From this station, as a student of the Silesian Conservatory of Music,
Michał Spisak – violinist, prominent neoclassical composer – traveled...
The ceremony will begin at 12:00 PM with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, and musical accompaniment will be provided by students of the Secondary Music School Complex in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
Representatives of railway companies and organizations, parliamentarians, local government officials, and residents will participate in the event.
Next, there will be an open-air concert called „Stacja Improwizacja”.
The event alludes to the numerous journeys of Michał Spisak, who regularly traveled from Dąbrowa Górnicza station to Katowice, where he studied at the Silesian Conservatory of Music.

Location: area in front of the PKP Railway Station building in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
The open event is organized as part of the 5th International Michał Spisak Festival „Solo i tutti.” The event's co-organizers are the city of Dąbrowa Górnicza and Polish State Railways S. A.
