Night Market in a new edition!
The new season of the iconic Warsaw Night Market kicks off on May 8th. After a decade of existence, one of the most important spots on the capital's culinary map is undergoing a metamorphosis from a food market into a full-fledged urban hangout.
New formula, new space
The 2026 season brings a fundamental change in how Nocny is experienced. The former food court layout gives way to a town square concept with clearly defined zones:
- Asia Town,
- Little Italy,
- Comfort food,
- Sweet Spot,
- Green Zone Chill
- Central bar with a DJ.
Just as the city changes, so do we – today we're focusing even more on the experience and what happens between people. We're not moving away from food – we still have the best street food in the country – but Nocny is now more about atmosphere than concept. We want to move away from associations with food courts and show that it's primarily people and shared moments that make a place unique. Therefore, the answer to the question ‘where do we see each other?’ is simple: we see each other at Nocny. – says Katarzyna Dziedzic, co-founder of Nocny Market.
Premiere, returns, and the program on the Second Platform
This year's edition features a record number of culinary premieres. Guests can expect special concepts created for this season, including the legendary bian biangi from KBar, premium zapiekanki in a new version, a Levantine grill run by restaurant chefs, and birria tacos from Papito – winners of last year's Night Owls poll. From other cities in Poland, there will be corn dogs, fresh seafood, and hot cookies. Włoski Strajk returns with a new concept of cheese fried over coals, but fans of classics will also be pleased by the return of pizza on the platforms. The season will be opened by Ahaan – the inaugural grill promises a summer full of smoke, fire, and unique flavors. Fan favorites are also back: Reuben, Sakamoto-ya, and Kumo to Yaki. Throughout the season, 19 Night Owls – rotating residents from all over Poland – will serve new flavors and occasional menus each week.
Drugi Peron is a covered area for markets and events. This year's program includes plenty of attractions: outdoor cinema, themed lifestyle markets – handicrafts, posters, fashion, jewelry, art, and coffee. All in a unique industrial atmosphere of abandoned platforms with graffiti in the background.
