Land of Imagination at the Prime Minister's Office – Children's Day
On May 31st, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, a unique family picnic will take place in the gardens of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister on the occasion of Children's Day. This year's event's slogan is „Land of Imagination in KPRM,” and one of the main attractions will be the jubilee PKP S.A. zone.
Children's Day at the Prime Minister's Chancellery is an annual event featuring numerous surprises and attractions for visitors. This year, the KPRM gardens will transform into a fairytale land, with one of the attractions being a railway inspiration zone prepared by Polish State Railways. This space is being created to commemorate two special anniversaries: the 200th anniversary of the world's first railway journey and the 100th anniversary of PKP's establishment. It aligns with the jubilee slogan: „We Connect People, Places, and Stories.” The aim of the zone prepared by PKP is to create an inspiring and engaging space that will stimulate the creativity of the youngest visitors, ignite their imagination, open up possibilities for new ideas, and provide an impetus for creative action.
Our space has been prepared for two special anniversaries: the 200th anniversary of the world's first train journey and the 100th anniversary of the establishment of PKP. In our prepared zone, we will combine education, fun, and creativity, inviting the youngest to the world of railways, imagination, and shared discovery. Many attractions inspired by the anniversaries await the children. The youngest will be able to test their knowledge in the railway quiz „Kolejada,” where jubilee gifts and prizes are awarded for correct answers.
In the special creative zone, children will choose train-themed tattoos featuring trains, railway workers, and anniversary graphics, and will also jointly create a unique railway coloring book, decorating the booth space with their own drawings and doodles.
There will be no shortage of excitement and fun at „Catch the Luck,” where you can win unique PKP centenary merchandise. For lovers of souvenir photos, we have prepared a railway photo booth — a unique set inspired by the anniversary key visual by Jan Kallwejt.
